Founded in 2015, we strive to demystify the test prep process and empower students to reach their own potential. The Position: Our tutors work with students one on one and in small-group settings. We take care of the back-end logistics so you can focus on teaching. Responsibilities: • Plan engaging lessons that focus on both the “why” and the “how” • Assess students’ progress and adjust lesson plan as needed • Collaborate with leadership The ideal candidate should fulfill the following criteria: • Strong performance on the SAT and/or ACT • Have a Bachelor’s degree or are actively pursuing one • Creative problem solver with a positive attitude • Be organized, professional, and empathetic Bonus qualifications: • Have prior teaching or tutoring experience • Have the ability to tutor multiple subjects The Location: Prep with Jen is based in Fairfax, VA, and most of our clients are local to the DC Metropolitan region. Therefore, having a car is preferable. However, we do also have remote teaching opportunities.
