What You’ll do Integral role in supporting the Director of Operational Readiness, US to deliver large-scale LSbp solar plants from Construction to Operations in the Americas. Responsible for delivering safe, quality, and compliant solar projects from EPC to US Asset Services within the Americas. Duties and Responsibilities Origination Support (20%) • Assist internal stakeholders during bid and RFP processes o Maintain, review, and update operational expense assumptions including – ? Preventative/Corrective O&M ? Vegetation Management ? SCADA/telecom ? Asset Management ? NERC Compliance ? Region specific expenses • Analyze operational improvement initiatives, create value throughout the project lifecycle • Review and assist in execution of various management agreements during the pre-construction process • Support and maintain feedback look from US Asset Services to Development and Construction. Financial and Operational Onboarding (30%) • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide continuity and consolidate workstreams from origination to operation • Help support the collection, organization and filing of all financial, commercial, and operational documentation, both internally and for external third-party stakeholders. • Populate and manage compliance database for operating assets by ensuring periodic updates, compliance assessments, and compliance implementation. Asset Management (50%): • Administer project documents to maintain compliance from financial close through substantial completion. • Provide support to the Development and Construction teams for assets in construction, including interfacing with various workstreams such as O&M, performance, insurance, legal, finance, IT, procurement, real estate, etc. • Collaborate in the annual budget planning process, including analysis of individual assets as well as incorporating inputs and standardizing budget assumptions across the fleet. • Administration of 3rd party service providers: including vendor enrollment, purchase order & invoice management • Support in the management of relationships with key project level stakeholders including equity investors, offtakers, contractors, landowners, etc. Who we’re looking for Knowledge • Pragmatic, creative problem-solving • Ability to work well in a diverse environment • Comfortable managing both internal and external stakeholders Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or related experience is required • Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel • 1-3 years’ experience in an analytical role (financial or operations) Experience • Thorough understanding of solar project life-cycle • Strong familiarity with solar power plant asset management and operations • Detailed understanding of key project documents and milestones • Strong Microsoft Excel skills Why you’ll make a great member of the team Personal qualities • Comfortable in a highly visible role, outspoken, not content to be an individual contributor • Desire to interact with a broad spectrum of stakeholders both internal and external • Ability to organize workload and priorities to maximum effect for both yourself and the wider team • Flexible approach in a fast-paced business which is constantly changing, and ability to keep a clear head under pressure • Drive accountability, refine workflow and process on the fly • Methodical problem solver, able to identify and address critical project risks • Set high standards of performance for yourself • Ability to pick up systems and processes quickly • Previous demonstrable experience where excellent attention to detail is critically important We offer • Health, dental and vision care for US team members starts on your first day of employment. Team members also receive wellness and remote work allowances.
