This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis. • M-F 8-5 pm EST • 6 month contract • $70-$80 hourly Key Responsibilities • We are seeking a talented Google Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Google Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with our existing GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes environment • Assist with the existing GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes environment • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform • Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and availability issues • Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Python or Bash • Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for incident resolution • Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and scalability of the cloud infrastructure • Document and communicate technical solutions and procedures to stakeholders What you’ll need to succeed • At least 3 years of relevant experience with GCP including Security, Setup and Networking. • Good knowledge and experience with Terraform including developing multiple pipelines/plans to provision multiple resources in GCP. • Good knowledge and experience with Kubernetes including setup, Security, patching, administration, etc.. • Strong understanding and experience with policies within GCP, including bindings, members, roles, etc.. • Good understanding of GitLab and it’s components. • Good troubleshooting skills. • Good understanding of and adherence to Change Management processes. • Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player • Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal Nice to Have: • Relevant certifications are a plus. • Experience MigratingCopying date to GCP for analytics. • Rapid7 experience is a plus.
