Prime Air is seeking an experienced Engineer within the Product Support Organization team to drive deployment of hardware and software functionality, investigate issues, and design ground support equipment to drive delivery on a critical program across several different disciplines. This role requires demonstrated troubleshooting capabilities, and ability to innovate in a constrained design space. Excellent communication skills are a must to build trust and drive alignment across both design and operations spaces. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and operational functions across all Prime Air teams, to drive efficient delivery, and decompose ambiguous problems into straightforward solutions. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer focus, problem solving skills, regulatory understanding, and the ability to convert lessons learned to requirement update requests. You will work hard, have fun, and of course, make history! Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf. • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent • Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools • Experience with MRB, nonconformance processes, and quality systems • Experience with design or redesign of integrated systems • Familiarity with regulatory agencies, and regulatory requirements Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $105,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
