About the position The position involves working as a tutor or teacher at Tutor Corps and Pacific Preparatory, focusing on providing personalized 1:1 education to students. The role emphasizes building meaningful relationships with students and supporting their holistic development through tailored instruction. Instructors will work with a diverse student population and have the flexibility to create their own schedules while earning competitive pay. Responsibilities  Provide personalized 1:1 tutoring to students in various K-12 subjects. ,  Build meaningful relationships with students to support their social-emotional learning. ,  Tailor teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student. ,  Collaborate with other teaching professionals to share effective teaching strategies. ,  Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Requirements  Minimum of one year of instructional experience. ,  Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. ,  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ,  Proficiency in using Zoom and online teaching tools. Nice-to-haves  Teaching credentials (not required but a bonus). ,  Experience working with students who have learning differences.
