In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and promoting our products to clients. Your primary objective will be to understand the client's technical requirements, propose solutions, secure sales, and develop new business growth in this specified market. The Sales Engineer will play a key role in leading product demo's and educating customers (everyone from sales reps to sales enablement to executives) on the best way to implement Revenue intelligence in Tax.com. You will have the opportunity to play an important role in increasing the effectiveness, productivity, and revenue growth in the Sales Team by partnering closely with Account Executives to close new business with prospects, as well as with existing customers, through discovery calls, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts(POC's), and meetings. Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan's Key Results People: ┬Ľ Work alongside Sales and Customer Success as the ultimate product expert ┬Ľ Attend Inter-departmental meetings to generate new ideas, strategies and opportunities for the company and maintain communication flow between departments Client: ┬Ľ Be the trusted advisor to both prospects and customers to ensure they get the correct business value from our Tax.com products. ┬Ľ Assist prospects and customers with Business Assessment (POCs, Pilots). ┬Ľ Craft content to show customers how to leverage Tax.com products for specific use cases. ┬Ľ Assist with RFPs and questionnaires in the context of sales cycles. ┬Ľ Contribute reusable assets to the Sales Engineering team and the company at-large. Value: ┬Ľ Help eliminate bottlenecks by working cross functionally (Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product Management, Engineering) in order to get deals across the line. ┬Ľ Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Product Management and Engineering to share voice of the customer feedback in order to influence our product roadmap and GTM strategies. Education and Experience: ┬Ľ 5+ years of customer facing experience in a sales engineering (pre-sales) role or combination of sales engineering and other relevant work experience. ┬Ľ Experience with sales technology (CRMs), cloud architecture, or telephony/web conferencing systems. ┬Ľ Experience with data flows, AI/ML concepts, analytics, databases, APIs/webhooks, or JSON ┬Ľ Understanding of security and privacy pertaining to SaaS systems. ┬Ľ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ┬Ľ Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. ┬Ľ Passion for technology and problem solving. ┬Ľ Able to make the complex sound simple! ┬Ľ Industry knowledge of our key markets (technology, business services and financing, staffing & recruiting) is a plus Supervisory Responsibilities: ┬Ľ This role will not have supervisory responsibilities Work Environment: ┬Ľ Standard indoor working environment. ┬Ľ Long periods of time sitting while working at a computer. ┬Ľ Regular contact with co-workers via online tools or in person. ┬Ľ Remote work allowed. ┬Ľ Independent travel requirement: up to 30% Equal Opportunity Employer: disability/veteran Remote Position ┬Ľ For certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $89,000.00 - $117,700.00 ┬Ľ For other California based locations, the base salary hiring range for this position is $82,000.00 - $108,350.00 ┬Ľ For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $78,000.00 - $103,400.00 ┬Ľ For New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $89,000.00 - $117,700.00 ┬Ľ For Washington based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $82,000.00 - $108,350.00 ┬Ľ The Company makes offers based on many factors, including qualifications and experience.
