As a Staff Engineer at Hevo Data you will get to

  • Lead the Way: Design and build cutting-edge data integration solutions.

  • We are building a deep tech ELT product where you will get an opportunity to build product from scratch based out of India .

  • Problems and Projects You'll Tackle

  • Architect and develop scalable data integration solutions that seamlessly connect disparate data sources, empowering organisations to unlock the full value of their data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our core product, leveraging your expertise to tackle complex challenges and ensure our solutions meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Dive deep into the codebase, conducting thorough code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers, elevating the overall quality and performance of our product.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging technologies and evaluating their potential applications in our product, driving continuous innovation and staying at the cutting edge of data integration.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in software development from enterprise background.Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or Go or C++ .Strong understanding of distributed systems, data integration patterns, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and relational/NOSQL databases.
  • Experience with popular open source data processing engines (Spark, Kafka, Flink or equivalent).Experience in developing with concurrent & non-blocking systems. Could have worked in any of the following products like : Distributed file systems, Non Blocking IO, Database replication/backups, Distributed cache, streaming platforms, query engines etc.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
