WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • You contribute to the continuous improvement of finance operations by focusing not on standard bookings but on process design, system effectiveness, and operational integration

  • You implement the Director of Finance’s requirements to better integrate core systems such as Salesforce, Chargebee, DATEV, and Yokoy — ensuring a smooth flow of financial data and process efficiency

  • You support the Director of Finance in preparing for the monthly closing process for the UK and contribute to the accurate preparation of relevant financial documentation

  • You oversee the incoming invoice process, including managing and maintaining our spend management tool (Yokoy), reviewing invoice data, and preparing documents for pre-accounting

THE QUALITIES YOU'LL NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL ROLE AT DATAGUARD

  • Previous experience in finance, accounting operations, or a similar role with a focus on process improvement and systems integration

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to question existing workflows and suggest practical, scalable solutions

  • Proficient in MS Excel with the ability to work efficiently with data and support process analysis

  • Solid understanding of financial systems and how they interact — experience with tools like Salesforce, Chargebee, Datev und Yokoy is a big plus

  • Hands-on, proactive working style — you see a problem, take ownership, and drive it to resolution

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Fluent in both German and English, both written and spoken, to navigate an international finance setup

  • Available to start immediately, with a weekly capacity of at least 30 hours for a minimum of 3 months
