Primary Responsibilities The Retail Merchandiser/Stocker is accountable to stock, rotate, and merchandise KeHE supplied products for assgined customers within a region. Also, provides back-up and assistance for the Sales Team as needed during vacations, absences and circumstances that arise as necessary and work as part of a team to execute major store settings and resetting objectives. Essential Functions

  • Stock, rotate, and merchandise KeHE supplied product for assigned customers within the region.
  • Act as back-up to Sales Team and perform assigned duties when needed.
  • Assist with Sales Rep vacation coverage where needed.
  • Work on various projects as assigned including, but not limited to new item cut-in, category resets, code checks, shelf and product maintenance, and emergency deliveries.
  • Assist with product placement and positioning on store shelves.
  • At the direction of the Lead/Merchandising Manager, assist with merchandising proposals where required.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings as requested.
  • Maintain good attendance, safe work practices and maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
  • Other duties and special assignments as assigned by management.
  • Comply with established company policies and procedures in accomplishing the above accountabilities.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations on a daily basis, and periodically travel to assignments outside the region.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends (if applicable).
  • Ability to cary 20 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting of up to 75 pounds, sometimes in crowded quarters.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both customer and company personnel.
  • Demonstrated strong time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a variety of tasks simultaneously, including anticipating problems and taking appropriate preventive action to avoid crises whenever possible.
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively as part of a team.
