Director of Operations – Ambulatory Infusion Center (Remote) Location: Remote Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Reports To: VP of Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary The Director of Operations oversees the daily management, strategic planning, and overall performance of the Ambulatory Infusion Center. This leader ensures high-quality, cost-effective patient care delivery while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, financial oversight, staff development, and operational excellence.   • Review, optimize, and roll out updated processes to ensure efficiency and best practices.
  • Direct and manage all operational functions of the infusion center, ensuring smooth clinical and administrative workflows.
  • Collaborate with medical directors, nursing leadership, and pharmacy staff to uphold standards of care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency; implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing models, and productivity standards to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient throughput.
  • Develop and manage budgets, including cost containment strategies and forecasting future resource needs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with accreditation and quality assurance efforts.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for operations staff.
  • Provide support to VP of Operations and assist with requested tasks as needed.

  • Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shift may change in accordance with business needs. Exempt employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Required Minimum Job Qualifications, Experience, Education and Training

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 3–5 years’ experience in medical operations position
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
