Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Principal IT Architect to lead the design and implementation of modern, scalable, and secure network infrastructures. This individual will play a key role in defining the architecture for core networking technologies, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and secure remote access solutions. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in enterprise network design and has hands-on experience with advanced routing, switching, and multi-cloud network integration. This role has the opportunity to be on-site, hybrid or remote. Impact of the Role General Profile

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the design and development of information technology architecture for the organization.
  • Serves as a technical expert on solutions design, development, and implementation requirements to address business needs
  • Analyzes the functionality and constraints of recommended solution/changes across multiple systems/platforms/applications.
  • Ensures compatibility, interoperability, stability, and usability of solution architecture
  • Uses knowledge and experience across varying infrastructure requirements to develop, design, and re-engineer architecture when necessary.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Own and lead architecture and design of enterprise-level network solutions that meet scalability, performance, and security requirements.
  • Design and implement SD-WAN solutions for optimized WAN performance, cloud access, and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Information Technology or other technical degree preferred
  • Other: Experience Defense Industry. Designing resilient architectures for multi-site secure manufacturing environments. Integration of on-prem and cloud networking in support of hybrid workloads. Working in Agile/DevOps environments with CI/CD integration for networking changes.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Pay Range (USD) $96,390.00 - $179,010.00 Pay Transparency Statement The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
