Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and fellow educators to create and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Utilize innovative teaching techniques and resources to address individual learning styles and challenges
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track achievements in alignment with IEP goals
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive virtual classroom environment that promotes students' social and academic growth

Requirements:

• Valid Iowa teaching certification with a special education endorsement
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in teaching students with special needs
• Profound understanding of IEP development, implementation, and assessment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, and school staff
• Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to supporting students' holistic development
