We're seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering-focused team at Workwarp, specializing in infrastructure and building scalable, highly available platforms. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing platform services that support traffic management for The Home Depot's ecommerce platform.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, build, and optimize traffic routing solutions and observability tools, ensuring smooth and efficient traffic flow across the website. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure the resilience and security of systems, mentor less experienced engineers, and shape technical direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software with a clear understanding of its value, taking on new opportunities and challenges with enthusiasm and urgency
• Collaborate with team members in agile processes, creating new and better ways for the organization to succeed, and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of unique needs
• Learn through successful and failed experiments, seeking ways to grow and be challenged using formal and informal development channels
• Help grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks and leading technical discussions

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in software engineering or related fields
• Proficiency in backend development with Golang, Java, and Spring Boot for building and enhancing platforms
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure, and familiarity with traffic management and routing solutions
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools, modern software design patterns, and security frameworks for user and service authentication and authorization
• Bachelor's degree in a field of study related to the job, or equivalent experience
