We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Math Teacher to join our team as a 0.8 FTE Long Term Leave Substitute. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging math lessons to students, aligning with established core targets and catering to diverse learning needs
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and support students with specialized needs
• Develop and implement effective instructional strategies, utilizing a range of techniques and media

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements
• Experience teaching high school mathematics courses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and build strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents
