Job Responsibilities:

As a Call Center Representative at Walgreens, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing new patient enrollment by entering data into our system
  • Handling patient medication requests and entering refill orders for processing
  • Investigating and resolving missing prescription data and interpreting medical abbreviations (SIG codes)
  • Resolving third-party rejections by researching, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing
  • Providing support to pharmacists and communicating issues to senior-level staff as needed

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, starting and closing programs)
  • Basic internet search skills (e.g., opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine)
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment
  • Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients
  • Advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents)
