Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician I position is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is running safely and efficiently, and that our facilities are well-maintained and compliant with all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs on production equipment
• Provide mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic support to production machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments as needed
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report any unusual situations to supervision

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience working in a food manufacturing facility or a 2-year degree in applied technology
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, and pneumatics
• Moderate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work individually and in a team setting
