We are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Second Grade Teacher to inspire and educate our students in a classical liberal arts and sciences curriculum.Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate learning and growth for students in a classical education setting
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and activities that promote academic excellence and virtue
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and communicate with parents through regular updates
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and community events
Requirements:
- Texas State Teacher's Certification in Elementary Education or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Passing score on an ExCET/TExES Exam in Elementary Education
- Experience teaching in a classical school or with classical traditional methods (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of classical education, Core Knowledge curriculum, and teaching methods
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
