As a Medical Assistant Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the skills and knowledge of our students, preparing them for successful careers in the medical field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction to students in classroom, lab, clinical, and online settings
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, course materials, and assessments
- Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and success
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive campus culture and student experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of related practical work experience in the medical field
- Associate degree or higher preferred; experiential qualifications will be considered
- Previous teaching experience desirable; experience in phlebotomy, immunizations, and EKG a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with students and staff
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems
