Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced part-time Assistant Faculty member to support our online undergraduate and graduate level Accounting classes. As an Assistant Faculty, you will play a critical role in creating an optimal learning environment by interacting with students in online classrooms and supporting instructional faculty. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic educator with a strong background in Accounting, we encourage you to apply.

Essential Duties:

• Analyze student activity within discussions and assessments and respond accordingly
• Utilize online learning platform (Canvas) to communicate with students and manage generic student communications
• Escalate unique issues to the master instructor and assist with grading
• Monitor engagement levels and provide recommendations on increasing engagement
• Adhere to university policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Doctorate in Accounting or related field; Master's degree in Accounting considered
• 5 years of professional experience in Accounting
• Active CPA License highly preferred
• Previous online teaching experience with adult learners (5+ years preferred)

• Strong computer skills and ability to effectively communicate up and down the management chain
