Remote SSAT/ISEE Tutoring Opportunity - Competitive Hourly Rate ($30-$50/hr)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate tutor to join our team as an In-Person Tutor for SSAT/ISEE/HSPT exams. As a tutor with our national consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated Tutoring & College Advising Programs, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys. Our ideal candidate is a motivated and experienced educator who is committed to providing high-quality, personalized instruction to students preparing for these exams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person tutoring sessions to students, focusing on the Reading/Writing sections of the SSAT/ISEE/HSPT exams
• Design and execute customized lesson plans tailored to individual students' needs and learning styles
• Administer practice exams, evaluate student progress, and adjust lesson plans accordingly
• Collaborate with students' families to keep them informed of progress and provide ongoing support
• Stay up-to-date on changes to the SSAT/ISEE/HSPT exams and modify lesson plans as needed
• Maintain accurate records of session details, scores, and student progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience in tutoring, teaching, or test preparation, with a focus on SSAT/ISEE/HSPT exams (preferred but not required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop customized lesson plans for individual students
• Flexible schedule, with availability to work evenings and weekends as required
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with a self-motivated and committed approach to helping students succeed
