Job Overview:

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced educators to join our School of Social Work at the University of Cincinnati. As an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of future social work professionals and contributing to the department's teaching and service missions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and develop courses for the Bachelor and Master of Social Work programs, using face-to-face and online delivery modalities
  • Participate in student recruitment, retention, and admissions activities
  • Contribute to program committee work, including program evaluation and accreditation tasks
  • Provide advising and mentoring to students
  • Engage in service activities consistent with the missions and faculty evaluative criteria of the University, College, and School

Requirements:

  • Masters in Social Work (MSW)
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Minimum of 2 years post-MSW practice experience
  • Experience teaching social work courses at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Strong background in advising and mentoring students
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
