Remote Healthcare Specialist - Make a Meaningful Impact

Join our team as a Healthcare Specialist and bring your passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences to a dynamic and remote work environment! As a 100% remote role, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere, with a schedule that includes Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch), and occasional early start times as needed. In this critical role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for health plan members, employers, providers, and health plans, addressing their inquiries and providing personalized support. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient needs, routing them to the appropriate department or party, and ensuring seamless communication. As a Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Handling incoming inquiries from members, employers, providers, and health plan coordinators in a professional and empathetic manner
• Assessing patient needs and providing assistance by routing them to the appropriate department or party
• Projecting a professional and helpful demeanor to all patients, even in challenging situations
• Consistently providing accurate and thorough information to patients, and using available resources to research and resolve moderately complex issues

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of hard and soft skills, including:

Hard Skills:

• Managed Care experience
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Medical Terminology knowledge

• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
• Calm and composed under pressure, with the ability to handle difficult or upset patients
• Attention to detail and ability to provide accurate and thorough information
