As a Guide/Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve this vision, teaching online classes to older adults (55+) using Zoom, and creating engaging class outlines, slide decks, and curriculum.

About You

• You are a natural teacher with a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise
• You have strong people skills, empathy, and patience, with the ability to engage and motivate learners
• You are a self-starter, resourceful, and curious, with a love for learning and trying new things
• You have technical familiarity with Zoom and Google tools, and are comfortable with online instruction
• You are able to teach/present on at least three different topics, and have a variety of hobbies and interests to share

Responsibilities

• Teach online classes to older adults (55+) using Zoom, in subjects where you have expertise, skill, and/or certification
• Create engaging class outlines, slide decks, and curriculum for new classes
• Launch scheduled classes on time, and participate in GetSetUp training and meetings as requested
• Stay up-to-date on technologies used by GetSetUp, and complete administrative tasks in a timely fashion
• Provide feedback to other GetSetUp teams, and contribute to the growth and development of our platform

Technical Requirements

• Reliable, high-speed internet connection
• Late model personal computer with audio and video capabilities, and an internet connection speed that supports video conferencing via Zoom
• Ability to provide your own equipment for the classes you will teach (e.g. smartphone, canvas and brushes, musical instrument)
