As a Software Development Engineer with Amazon Music, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from building the best Alexa experience for podcasts to developing cutting-edge podcast search and discovery models. You'll be part of a team that's dedicated to improving the podcast experience and personalizing it for customers.

Key Responsibilities: * Work backwards from customer needs to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed software architecture and design * Implement and deploy highly distributed, stable, and scalable services * Drive best practices across the team for operational excellence * Maintain up-to-date knowledge to keep up with rapid changes in science and technology * Collaborate with teams to influence the overall technical strategy of Amazon Music Requirements: * Professional experience in software development * Basic informatics of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis * Knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as Java, Scala, or Python * Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent * Additional qualifications: + Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the entire software development lifecycle + Ability to take a project from scope requirements to the actual start of the project + Experience creating workflows with large data sets and/or production models for machine learning with distributed computing and big data processing concepts and technologies + Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers + Knowledge of Estonian and English (Common European Framework of Reference C1) What We Offer: * Competitive salary: $20-$30/hour * Full-time employment with a dynamic and growing company * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative and innovative work environment * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options Are You the One We're Looking For?
