Our Ease Cloud Accounting Services team is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients, and we're looking for a talented Bookkeeper to join our ranks.

About the Role

  • Assisting with full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions for our clients
  • Preparing and maintaining payroll and related government remittances/filings
  • Recording sales, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable, payroll, and Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) transactions
  • Setting up client files and assisting with budget completion and administrative planning
  • Maintaining, monitoring, and reconciling general ledger accounts
  • Identifying issues and errors, investigating discrepancies, and developing resolutions
  • Communicating with governments regarding information requests, assessments, and installments
  • Collaborating with clients and team members to build strong relationships

    • Requirements

    • Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting (an asset)
    • 1+ year of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
    • Experience working with cloud accounting software (QBO, Xero, etc.)
    • Basic accounting principles and processes knowledge
    • Understanding of sales taxes, payroll taxes, and corporate tax
    • Desktop bookkeeping software experience (beneficial)
