Job Summary: As a Customer Service Representative, you will respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional support in a fast-paced call center environment. You will utilize your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to address customer concerns, provide account maintenance, and educate customers on online state registration requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer telephone calls, addressing account maintenance, refund inquiries, and password resets
• Provide knowledgeable and accurate information on tax laws, policies, and procedures
• Assist customers with online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center
• Maintain a working knowledge of current tax laws, policies, and procedures
• Utilize technology to provide advanced support and resolve customer issues efficiently

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months of call center experience handling customer inquiries and issues
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a Tax Clearance Letter stating that you do not owe any state taxes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a high-volume contact service environment
• Bilingual in Spanish or a second language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
