Join the Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology team as an Associate Quality Control Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our media content. As a key member of our Media Experience team, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellence of our video assets, from incoming materials to finished products.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control checks on video assets for video and audio fidelity
  • Identify and report video and audio issues, ensuring prompt resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards and improve processes
  • Utilize macOS and Windows operating systems to perform quality control tasks

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 28 hours of work per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Exemplary attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, team player with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to new situations
  • Basic computer and technical background, with experience working in new media and online organizations
  • Familiarity with streaming and broadcast media, Google apps, and video codecs (H.264)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in video quality control or a related field
  • Fluency in languages other than English
  • Background in encoding video for the web and understanding of various video codecs
