Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Medical Insurance Specialist to join our team, working remotely from Monday to Friday, 8am-8pm CST. As a Medical Insurance Specialist, you will:
- Submit and track prior authorization requests via inbound and outbound calls
- Verify patients' medical insurance eligibility and coverage
- Communicate with providers and insurers regarding patients to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate records of approvals and denials
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 1 year of medical benefits experience
- Call center experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies
- Experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication abilities
