Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to spearhead our sales initiatives with Costco. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in consumer packaged goods and established relationships with Costco buyers, particularly in the snacking category. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for entering and expanding our presence in Costco stores.
- Forge and nurture strong relationships with Costco buyers to ensure sales growth and meet account objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and forecast sales effectively.
- Regularly visit Costco locations to optimize sales strategies and promotional activities.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to represent Kervan USA and enhance brand visibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in sales with a focus on consumer packaged goods, including significant experience dealing directly with Costco.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business development and sales strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong team player with effective follow-up skills and a keen attention to detail.
