New Grad Opportunity! Are you a recent graduate in the field of Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), eager to embark on a dynamic urgent care career? If you possess a patient-centric mindset, positive attitude and are eager to work hard and learn, we invite you to explore the exciting opportunity to be a fellow within our urgent care fellowship program. Fellowship Program Details Shift Requirements: 40h/week (may include weekends) Fellow Compensation: $50/hr Program Length: 6 months What We Offer Curated educational experience designed to introduce and inspire a fulfilling career in acute care medicine Mentorship, Didactics, Clinical rounds Proctored clinical shifts with supportive clinical and administrative management The opportunity to grow and scale with a dynamic startup who is changing the way people think about healthcare Competitive pay, advancement opportunities, and comprehensive benefits for full-time employees Full-time and part-time positions upon successful completion of fellowship program What You’ll Learn Provide exceptional treatment, collaborative care options (within the scope of urgent care), including physical examinations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment Order and interpret x-rays, lab results and EKGs Triage and manage patients thoroughly and efficiently, maintaining a steady flow to avoid long wait times Perform digital blocks and regional anesthesia, and minor surgical procedures, such as wound closure and management, I&D, foreign body removal Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as aspirations and injection of joints, bursas, and cysts Perform closed reductions of simple fractures or dislocations of fingers/toes, including nursemaid’s elbow reductions Apply and modify braces, splints, and other orthopedic appliances About You Medical/Master’s degree and certification Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant and current national certification - OR -RN - Valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner National certification upon start of fellowship program Current, unrestricted state medical license Maintain a controlled substance license along with an unrestricted DEA license Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and impartiality at all times BENEFITS Medical, dental & vision coverage, effective first day of employment Health Savings Account & Flexible Savings Account option for health care & dependent care Paid time off, paid sick leave, paid training time 401k retirement savings plans with employer match Life & Disability Insurance Medical malpractice and tail insurance State license, board certification and BLS reimbursed for full-time providers DEA & DOT certification will be reimbursed where it is required for practice Complimentary subscriptions to point-of-care reference tool, DynaMedex Hippo Education subscription, internal education resources and clinical rounds to support continuing medical education requirements *Some benefits dependent on specialty and employment status We recognize that the key to success lies in valuing the minds, experiences, and perspectives of people from all walks of life.
