Role and Responsibilities: As a Postal Worker with flexible hours, you will support daily mail operations and ensure timely delivery and collection of mail and packages. You will play a hands-on role in keeping the nation's mail moving efficiently.
- Sort and prepare mail for delivery or shipment
- Load and unload mail trucks and containers
- Deliver mail and packages on designated routes
- Collect outgoing mail from residential and business locations
- Operate scanning and tracking equipment for real-time updates
- Follow postal regulations and safety procedures during all tasks
Required Skills and Experience:
- Ability to lift and move heavy mail containers and packages
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for delivery positions)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics, delivery, or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with handheld scanners or route tracking technology
- Customer service experience
