We are looking for a Product Owner to join the Sphera team. You will be the voice of the customer and the key liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring the delivery of high-value products that meet business objectives.You will own the product backlog, define specifications, and prioritize features to maximize product value and drive customer satisfaction.

How you’ll spend your day: 

  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize featuresbased on changing requirements

  • Translate product managers’ strategies to detailed product feature specifications

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment of the product goal and requirements

  • Actively participate in Scrum events (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives)

  • Triage and reproduce bugs/defects, log details for engineers, and help define remediation priority

  • Perform functional testing of completed code to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards

  • Work with the product team and internal stakeholders to deliver updates and status reports

What makes you a great fit: 

  • 2+ years of experience as Product Owner/Analyst, or similar experience interacting with users of SaaS software

  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology

  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps or Jira

  • Working knowledge of product development architecture

  • Ability to assess the relative importance of each item in the product backlog and prioritize them accordingly

  • Ability to convey complex information with clarity and accuracy through verbal, written, and visual means

  • Business-fluent in English

  • Experience working with remote colleagues using conferencing tools

  • Flexibility to meet on occasion with team members and/or customers in different time zones

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field is preferred 

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is a plus

  • Experience with EHS&S software is a plus
