REMOTE SAP ARCHITECT, FOR SAP TECHNICAL SERVICES -CONTRACT

Our client has 6 month contract for a Senior Architect, SAP Technical Services to Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP platform solutions for the business in support of a digital transformation.

This person will be responsible for ensuring the technical quality, performance, scalability, and security of the SAP systems and platforms that run them. Will be responsible for collaborating with enterprise architects and functional teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions that meet business needs and requirements. The ideal candidate has experience 1in SAP product consulting or in an Architecture role including technical architecture, implementation strategy, deployment strategy, integration between systems, data migration, and instance strategy. The individual must possess both deep technical skill and business acumen to translate business and functional requirements to robust and cost-effective technical solutions.

RESONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate all business requirements and come up with solutions that provide an integrated approach utilizing different SAP products.
• Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP solutions using various technologies and tools such as Business Technology Platform, HANA, Fiori, etc.
• Participate in the business case development process by providing cost estimation and input for SAP solution components.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture to analyze the current state and future needs of the SAP landscape and propose the optimal technical architecture and roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance on platform configuration to the SAP application teams ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Partner with the SAP Service Delivery Manager to monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and security of the SAP systems and applications.
• Product evaluation, design, and proof of concepts.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP trends and technologies and evaluate their feasibility and benefits for the business.
• Conduct SAP solution audits and provide assurance on the quality, security, and compliance of the SAP landscape.

QUALIFICATION- EXPERIENCE

Must Have

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience designing enterprise SAP systems with an emphasis on globally available applications.
• Experience in SAP technical sizing and design, installation, upgrade, S/4HANA migration, and day-to-day administration.
• In-depth knowledge of ABAP development and a good understanding of different SAP modules.
• Subject matter expert on SAP platform architecture with a background in SAP Basis.
• Experience as a technical leader on large successful SAP deployments or system conversions, ideally with S/4 managing technical architecture analysis, research, design, and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under the SAP ecosystem.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Optional

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in NetWeaver technology including S/4, ECC, BW, SCM, and/or HANA 2.0.
• SAP certification in one or more functional modules such as FICO, SD, or MM

Nice to Have

• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver application development including integration between heterogeneous systems and technologies.
• SAP BTP certification.
• Both technical skills and a background in Enterprise Architecture.
• Experience with Datasphere, SAC, Integration Suite, Business Application Studio, and Fiori Launchpad.
• Understanding of SAP RISE, PCE and prior deployment experience.
