Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Cash Clearing Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our Patient Accounts team, you'll be responsible for reconciling GE/IDX batches in the Cash Clearing System, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing. Key Responsibilities

• Collection of all lockbox and EFT batches once posted on the GE/IDX system
• Reconciliation of all payments posted in the GE/IDX system by all Patient Accounts Payment Posting Representatives to the individual deposits in the Cash Clearing System
• Dispersing of payment batches appropriately once reconciled in Cash Clearing System
• Maintaining all policy and procedures and participating in unit progress meetings
• Reporting errors or problems that affect the ability to reconcile in the Cash Clearing System
• Seeking guidance from Supervisor for unusual circumstances
• Performing additional clerical duties and assignments as requested

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge of physician billing (preferred)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency in MS Excel and other commercial software
• Excellent follow-up, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills

After a 90-day training period, you'll have the option to work a flexible schedule, including four 10-hour days.
