Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and well-stocked store environment, and supporting the overall success of our stores. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor
  • Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and easily accessible to customers
  • Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any incidents or concerns to management promptly
  • Performing all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned
  • Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedules to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a strong commitment to meeting the needs of our customers and stores
