Job Summary

As a Lead Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data science and machine learning models that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges, design and implement data-driven solutions, and communicate insights to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement advanced data science and machine learning models to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and design data-driven solutions
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reporting
• Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures to support data-driven decision-making
• Work with Hive or Hadoop, system learning, text mining, and Spark to extract insights from complex data sets
• Develop and deploy machine learning models to production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to software engineering best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning

Essential Qualifications

* Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field

• At least 7 years of experience as a data or machine learning scientist, including:

+ Advanced machine learning activities (regression, clustering, and forecasting) + Development and implementation of analytical and data science modeling solutions using techniques such as data mining, machine learning, or text mining + Use of mathematical concepts, algorithms, and computational complexity + Participation with colleagues to deliver business value to the organization + Presentation of findings and reports to stakeholders + Use of Python, SQL, R, SAS, risk evaluation, and data manipulation

• At least 2 years of experience working with large quantities of data and solving business problems
• Experience with Hive or Hadoop, machine learning, text mining, and Spark

Preferred Qualifications

* Doctorate (PhD) degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field

• At least 4 years of experience as a data or machine learning scientist, including:

+ Advanced machine learning activities (regression, clustering, and forecasting) + Development and implementation of analytical and data science modeling solutions using techniques such as data mining, machine learning, or text mining + Use of mathematical concepts, algorithms, and computational complexity + Participation with colleagues to deliver business value to the organization + Presentation of findings and reports to stakeholders + Use of Python, SQL, R, SAS, risk evaluation, and data manipulation

• Experience with distributed systems, database architecture, linear programming, and data mining

Skills and Competencies

* Strong understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts, including regression, clustering, and forecasting

• Experience with machine learning algorithms, including neural networks and deep learning
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, and SAS
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools, including Hive, Hadoop, and Spark
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights
