Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Get Found Fast is an established SEO and digital marketing agency in the Denver Metro area, and they are seeking a proactive SEO Specialist to join their team. This role involves optimizing client websites to increase organic traffic and improve search engine visibility while working closely with the SEO team to develop effective strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Learn our SEO processes and grow your existing SEO knowledge and expertise
  • Conduct thorough market and competitor research to understand your client’s market and their consumers
  • Keyword research development and implementation that best aligns with your client’s goal and the search intent of their consumers
  • Develop and implement SEO campaigns from launch to long-term success
  • Embraces the future of SEO, including AI, and find ways to incorporate these new technologies and harness them for our clients’ benefit
  • Execute a range of on-site, off-site, and technical SEO tasks, including, but not limited to
  • Optimizing existing or developing new content
  • Performing regular technical SEO audits
  • Creating 301 redirect maps
  • Creating optimal SEO title and meta descriptions
  • Writing Schema strategies
  • Identifying opportunities for internal linking
  • Conducting backlink research and assisting with outreach strategies
  • Google Business Profile optimization
  • Assist in creating and maintaining detailed SEO performance reports for clients, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress over time
  • Stay current on industry trends and search engine algorithm updates to ensure compliance and maximize campaign strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account managers, web developers, and paid search managers, to ensure holistic client success

Skills

  • Has 1-3 years of SEO experience
  • Has a Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related
  • Or real-world proven experience in SEO implementation and marketing strategy
  • Experience in utilizing AI tools for their clients' campaigns and research
  • Familiar with basic website backend and content implementation
  • Is Detail-Oriented. You know the devil (and the fun!) is in the details. Not only do you not overlook what others might think of as minutiae, but you also like to look at a problem from every angle before choosing a strategy
  • Is flexible. Your ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You're also comfortable with ambiguity and finding client solutions
  • Is constantly curious and a lover of knowledge. You have an affinity for technology and a drive to learn to continue providing the best for our clients
  • A Problem-Solver: We need someone keen and quick, with troubleshooting abilities, who doesn't back down from a challenge and is ready and willing to get down and dirty. You can tackle problems and be happy to help others understand how you arrived at that point
  • Effectively Communicative & Collaborative: whether with your fellow employees or our clients, you know how to break down complicated concepts into bite-sized morsels or keep folks up-to-date as you slay a campaign. You feel confident and comfortable presenting your strategies and thoughts to our clients and in group settings. You listen intently to concerns, new ideas, and suggestions
  • Personable: You like getting to know new folks and industries, and you enjoy contributing to the greater conversation. We're looking for a team player who is a cheerleader and a leader
  • An Affinity for Technology
  • Preference will be given to candidates in the Denver Metro area
  • Exemplary writing skills that interweave our clients' diverse voices, but keep a focus on the technical needs of SEO
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics tools and search engine platform tracking/benchmarking tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, etc.)
  • Understanding of technical-SEO fundamentals (page optimization and schemas, URL structures, site crawl performance, links, etc.)
  • Google Analytics Certification is a plus, but not required
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common CMS platforms such as WordPress is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs. Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager are a plus, but not required
  • Bonus points for experience with clients in the construction and medical industries
  • Experience with keyword research/data mining tools and competitive analysis
  • Working knowledge of how to use generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.ai efficiently
