[Remote] Software Developer Intern

They are seeking a Software Developer Intern to work in a Scrum team, focusing on developing high-quality web-based ERP applications and enhancing user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on development for homebuilding software solutions of high quality
  • Collaborating on how to accelerate deliveries within existing staffing
  • Caring deeply about homebuilder user experiences, implementations, ongoing operational success, and doing whatever it takes to turn a product that customers need into a product they want for life
  • Ability to manage work items in tight deadlines
  • Study and Understand our application's functionality, workflow, and design
  • Collect, organize, and preprocess application knowledge
  • Develop an AI model that can respond to queries about using the application
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
  • Experiment and Track with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and embeddings to improve relevance and accuracy
  • Test, evaluate, and refine the model's performance with real-world queries
  • Document the process and provide recommendations for scaling and future enhancements

Skills

  • Be working from the Markham Ontario office
  • Understanding of software requirements
  • Experience building multi-tier, distributed web solutions with an emphasis on Responsive Design
  • Understanding of software development best practices, using a common code repository within a multi developer team environment, effective implementation strategies
  • Hands-on experience in Full Stack Development
  • HTML5, TypeScript, JavaScript, Stylesheets
  • .NET
  • SQL Query
  • Knowledge in Object-Oriented Design
  • Knowledge in Test Driven Development
  • Ability to perform Unit Testing as well as Integration Testing
