Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Brunswick, OH. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, suppliers, and Account Managers. You'll be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely communication. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Account Management: Collaborate with Account Managers to identify customer needs, source products, and provide quotes for product solutions.
  • Order Processing: Process customer orders, Return Material Authorizations, and Guaranteed Test Orders, and purchase materials to fill customer orders.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify and resolve root cause issues by working with cross-functional teams to minimize repetition of the original issue.
  • System Knowledge: Develop a detailed working knowledge of arenaflex systems, including P21, OS ticket, CribMaster, Autocrib, and other relevant systems.
  • Compliance: Perform all work in accordance with company prescribed ISO processes and procedures, utilizing appropriate company systems.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, utilizing phone, email, and instant messaging.
  • Critical Thinking: Excellent critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems.
  • Attention to Detail: Diligent and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in basic computer operation and comfortable with learning new software programs.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or inside sales, preferably in the industrial field, B2B sales, and customer service.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not have direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires:

  • Physical Demands: Regularly standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms.
  • Vision Requirements: Close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.
  • Lifting Requirements: Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

You'll be required to wear a wrist rest for keyboard and mouse pad.
