With a fleet of 30 trucks and vehicles, we operate a retail division that includes Wi-Not Stop convenience stores and a Marketplace, as well as an HVAC Division that is Class A licensed by the state of Virginia to install the latest energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our retail and fuel operations, you will be responsible for providing prompt, courteous customer service, handling sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Provides prompt, courteous customer service to all customers, ensuring a positive experience and building loyalty to arenaflex
- Rings up sales on the cash register and properly handles money, checks, and other forms of payment received for products and/or services sold
- Performs multi-function operation of the fuel console, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions
- Performs cleaning duties as necessary to maintain store cleanliness, as well as basic upkeep and/or cleaning of all equipment in the store
- Assists in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits, ensuring accurate records and minimizing losses
- Controls merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
- Works irregular hours as needed, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent, with a strong foundation in basic arithmetic operations
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and follow instructions as given
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building relationships and resolving issues
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business
- Proficient with a telephone, cash register, fuel console, money order machine, microwave, grill, nacho machine, coffee grinder, and other equipment
- Ability to properly handle and use cloth, paper, plastic, glass, rubber, liquids, cleaning solvents, and other materials
- Ability to perform the essential duties and work under the conditions described, including standing and/or walking up to eight hours per day, lifting and/or carrying up to 30 pounds, and working in occasional cold temperature extremes
