As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for providing engineering support on various aircraft systems and improving associated reliability through project management.

What You'll Do

As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist – Fleet Engineering Support, your responsibilities will include:

• Staying informed of day-to-day airline operations involving your field of responsibility
• Assessing daily priorities in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives
• Investigating aircraft/component problems that may cause aircraft delays or cancellations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials, or interruptions in maintenance operations, and determining appropriate corrective actions
• Providing engineering support as required for the disposition of discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components in order to restore serviceable status
• Responding to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical assistance is required to support projects or resolve problems
• Developing action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursuing final dispositions according to assessed priorities
• Coordinating with other airline departments, as required, to provide for effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions
• Preparing engineering documents to implement technical dispositions by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance actions that provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as engineering, data entry, or project management

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, business administration, or a related field

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
• Familiarity with aircraft systems and maintenance procedures, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Experience with data entry software, such as SAP or Oracle
• Certification in a related field, such as engineering or project management
