[Remote] Human Resources Business Partner, Leaves and ADA Coordinator (47708)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Capitol Bridge Health Services is hiring an HR Business Partner – ADA & Leave Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as the organization's dedicated resource for leave administration and coordination with third-party support, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting a consistent employee experience. The position involves managing leave requests, coordinating accommodations, and providing guidance to employees and managers.
Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee employee leave requests and accommodation needs in compliance with FMLA, ADA, state and local leave laws, and company policies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and third-party administrators regarding leave and ADA-related matters
- Coordinate with third-party leave administrators to ensure the timely and accurate processing of employee leave requests and accommodations
- Review and validate medical documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date leave records, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accessible
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on leave policies, ADA accommodations, and related procedures
- Oversee the return-to-work process, ensuring a smooth transition for employees returning from leave or accommodations
- Generate reports and analyze leave trends to support decision-making and identify potential areas for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local leave and accommodation laws
- Partner with HR, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless leave and accommodation processes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience managing leave administration and ADA accommodations
- Subject matter expertise in FMLA, ADA, and other relevant leave and accommodation laws and regulations
- Experience working with third-party leave administrators and coordinating multi-state leave processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leave cases simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to employees and managers
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency with HRIS and leave management systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate reports and interpret data to identify trends and improve processes
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and support employees during leave and accommodation processes
