[Remote] Equity Research Analyst | Forensic Accounting Focus
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CFRA Research is a global leader in forensic accounting research, analytics, and advisory services. They are seeking a forensic accounting research analyst to conduct and publish research on U.S. listed public companies in the Industrials sector, focusing on financial statement analysis and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Rigorous analysis of U.S. Industrials public company financial data, news, and other information to identify the varied risks facing companies
- Publish high-impact reports to be delivered to investment managers, hedge funds, and other clients detailing our research findings
- Communicate with clients regarding companies analyzed, industry issues, and accounting topics of interest
- Collaborate with members of the U.S. and European and industry-specific sector teams
- Perform custom research projects for clients, as requested
Skills
- 3-5 years experience in equity research, financial analysis, or with a credit ratings agency (Corporate)
- Strong background in financial statement analysis
- Strong knowledge of and interest in financial markets
- Superior written and oral communication skills, and ability to work well within a team environment
- Experienced presentation delivery, including comfort in discussing analysis and methodology in a face-to-face environment to prospects and clients
- Willingness to occasionally travel for client meetings and internal events
- Education and professional experience in accounting/auditing preferred
- Experience researching, analyzing, or auditing companies
- At least one of the following credentials a plus: CPA, CFA, MBA
