[Remote] HR Director ๐ผ | U.S. (East Coast Focus) | SaaS | High-Growth Environment

This role involves leading the U.S. HR function, partnering with executive leadership, and optimizing HR infrastructure in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead HR strategy and execution across the U.S. business (multi-region, East Coast focus)
- Partner with executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and scaling initiatives
- Serve as a key partner within a global HR structure, aligning U.S. efforts with broader business objectives
- Oversee and develop the U.S. HR team, driving performance and accountability
- Design and evolve compensation, bonus, and performance management programs
- Lead annual performance cycles, calibration, and merit planning
- Build and enhance people analytics and data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and operational excellence
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, change management, and talent development
- Help shape a high-performance, growth-oriented culture
Skills
- Proven experience as an HR Director or senior HR leader supporting U.S. operations
- Background in SaaS, technology, or product-led environments
- Experience in startup or high-growth companies โ builder mindset required
- Strong experience supporting multi-state / multi-region workforces
- Hands-on operator โ comfortable owning both strategy and execution
- Deep expertise in compensation, performance management, and HR operations
- Strong business partner โ able to influence and advise leadership
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Deep knowledge of U.S. employment law and compliance
- Experience in regulated or data-driven industries (e.g., fintech, payments, risk, compliance)
- Exposure to global teams and distributed workforces
- SHRM certification or equivalent
