Kentucky Educational Speech-Language Pathologist (Virtual)

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Kentucky SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Two or more years of professional experience preferred
- Previous school-based and/or teletherapy experience is a plus
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Comfortable utilizing virtual platforms and digital tools
Primary Responsibilities Assessment & Service Delivery
- Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations for students receiving services remotely
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student needs
- Deliver engaging teletherapy sessions and monitor student progress toward goals
- Analyze performance data to modify interventions and maximize outcomes
Collaboration & Team Participation
- Partner with teachers, families, and school staff to support student achievement
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Share strategies and recommendations to promote skill carryover across educational settings
Telepractice & Technology
- Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital resources to provide effective services
- Adapt materials and activities to create an interactive virtual learning environment
- Assist with basic technology troubleshooting and support platform accessibility for families
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, student progress, and goal updates
- Complete evaluations, reports, and required documentation within established timelines
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
Advocacy & Student Support
- Support equitable access to communication services and educational opportunities
- Provide resources, education, and guidance to families and school personnel regarding speech and language development
