What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Benefit Advocate at arenaflex, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their healthcare benefits. Your primary goal will be to resolve inquiries on the first call while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to and resolving customer service inquiries on the first call, addressing topics such as benefits, eligibility, and claims status with accuracy and empathy.
- Educating customers on consumer-driven healthcare topics, helping them understand their options and select the benefit plans that best meet their needs.
- Contacting care providers on behalf of customers to schedule appointments, connect them with specialists, and facilitate access to necessary services.
- Assisting customers in navigating online resources, portals, and tools to encourage self-sufficiency and long-term confidence in managing their benefits.
- Researching complex health-related issues, claims, and benefit scenarios to provide accurate information and effective solutions.

What You Need to Be Successful: Essential Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
- Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 6+ months of customer service experience in any industry.
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Availability: Ability to work any shift between 11:30 AM and 8:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, including occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
- Location: Must reside within a 100-mile commutable distance of Greensboro, NC, and have a reliable home internet connection and dedicated workspace.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using computers, navigating multiple systems simultaneously, and learning new software applications quickly.
