About arenaflex – Pioneering the Future of Air Travel

arenaflex is a global airline that blends cutting‑edge technology with a people‑first philosophy to deliver safe, reliable, and enjoyable journeys for millions of passengers each year. Our mission is to make the skies more accessible while empowering the crew members who keep our operations humming. As part of our ongoing digital transformation, arenaflex is expanding its remote workforce, offering flexible, part‑time opportunities that let talented professionals contribute from anywhere in the world.

We believe that great service starts behind the scenes. Our Crewmember Support teams are the backbone of the airline, ensuring that every pilot, flight attendant, ground staff, and maintenance technician has the tools, information, and assistance they need to perform at their best. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment and enjoy helping others solve problems, this role could be your next career milestone.

Position Overview – Partner Expert IT Crewmember Innovation Administration (CTS)

As a Partner Expert IT Crewmember Innovation Administration (CTS) you will serve as a trusted technical liaison for arenaflex Crewmembers. Working remotely, you will provide first‑ and second‑level support for a wide range of devices, applications, and communication tools. Your primary goal is to ensure that every arenaflex Crewmember experiences seamless, efficient, and secure technology interactions, whether they are on the tarmac in Montego Bay, in a hotel room in Kingston, or preparing for a flight in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Device Support: Deliver remote assistance for all arenaflex equipment and applications, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and specialized aviation software.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding on‑site and remote support, maintaining a professional demeanor that reflects arenaflex’s brand values of Well‑Being, Mindfulness, Integrity, Energy, and Playfulness.
  • Incident Management: Log, track, and prioritize support tickets from creation to resolution, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • System Monitoring & Maintenance: Conduct routine health checks, update device inventories, and verify that security patches and configuration profiles are correctly applied.
  • Collaboration with Cross‑Functional Teams: Work closely with the Data Innovation (IT) department, software rollout teams, and network operations to coordinate deployments and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Knowledge Base Development: Create and maintain up‑to‑date documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides that empower Crewmembers to resolve common problems independently.
  • Crisis Response: Participate in emergency response planning, including coordination during major incidents, system outages, or security blackouts.
  • Travel & On‑Site Presence: While the role is primarily remote, occasional travel to Montego Bay and Kingston, Jamaica, is required for on‑site collaboration and training sessions.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by management that support arenaflex’s operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting modern operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) or completion of an IT Fundamentals certification (e.g., Coursera IT for Everyone).
  • Hands‑on experience installing, configuring, and supporting applications in a corporate environment.
  • Willingness to travel short‑term (up to 50% of the time) within Jamaica and the United States.
  • Valid travel documents and the ability to obtain a U.S. visa independently (arenaflex does not sponsor visas for this role).
  • Proficiency with workplace collaboration suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of assignment.

Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • Industry‑recognized certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows Server environments.
  • Understanding of LAN technologies (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • Familiarity with VoIP and POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) systems, as well as mobile device management (MDM) platforms like VMware Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with enterprise security tools, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user‑friendly language.

Core Competencies & Personal Attributes

  • Reliability & Attendance: Consistent punctuality and dependable presence, especially during peak travel seasons.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, work irregular hours, and respond to urgent support requests without prior notice.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a polished, airline‑appropriate demeanor during video calls, on‑site visits, and any interactions with arenaflex Crewmembers.
  • Team Spirit: Willingness to assist with light aircraft cleaning or other operational tasks when time permits, reinforcing a collaborative culture.
  • Safety Advocacy: Promote arenaflex’s top safety value by identifying, reporting, and escalating safety or security concerns through established channels (e.g., Safety Activity Reporting System, SMS, SAR).
  • Cultural Fit: Align with arenaflex’s core values—Well‑Being, Mindfulness, Integrity, Energy, and Playfulness—and embody them in daily work.
