Forklift Operator (Night Shift)
Job Summary:
We are actively searching for a professional Forklift Operator to join our Night Shift team at Amazon, a renowned company in the US. Job Description:
As a Forklift Operator, your main responsibility will be ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of goods and materials. You will be required to work overnight shifts, operating forklifts, moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility, loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft, and stacking goods in the correct storage bays.
Responsibilities:
1. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
2. Operate forklift equipment and ensure the accurate, timely flow of inventory in the warehouse.
3. Inspect forklift equipment regularly, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining Amazon’s standards of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
5. Participate in warehouse inventory counts as required, providing accurate records of goods received and dispatched from the warehouse.
Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Forklift Operator certification is required
3. Proven experience as a Forklift Operator
4. Proficiency in English
5. Excellent hand-eye coordination
6. Proven ability to work during nighttime hours.
