About the position The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired to support schools in Decatur, GA. This role focuses on providing teletherapy services to visually impaired students, ensuring they receive the necessary educational support. Responsibilities • Provide teletherapy services to visually impaired students in a school setting. , • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students. , • Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning and development. , • Utilize online resources and approved webinars to enhance teaching methods. , • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge. Requirements • Graduate from a Teaching program. , • Current license as a VI Teacher in GA. , • Experience in middle school education is highly recommended. , • Experience in school and teletherapy settings is required.
