Outbound Sales Representative

The positions offered in this announcement are for remote sales representatives. Our typical customer office or business is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in their own time zone, so we structure outbound calls to match customer hours moving from East to West. Moving forward there may be opportunities for more hours, or full-time work and the opportunity to participate in our commissioned sales program for exceptional individuals. Jim Davis, President Responsibilities: • Conduct outbound sales calls to close repeat orders from existing customers • Conduct outbound sales calls to introduce company and products to prospective customers • Build and maintain relationships with customers through excellent customer service • Meet or exceed sales targets and goals • Utilize sales techniques to overcome objections and close sales • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in company computer system Experience: • Experience in inside sales, telemarketing, customer service or other experience dealing with people • Good sales and customer service skills Skills: • Excellent verbal communication skills in English • Strong phone presence and ability to make outbound calls confidently • Familiarity with computer systems for managing call information and posting orders • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets Equipment: • The company will provide a phone set connected to our network at no cost for making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls • Applicant will have access to a PC or laptop with internet access for call management and order posting Application Process: • Applications are accepted by email only • All email applications will be reviewed by our sales manager • Applicants of interest will be invited to a telephone interview • Applicants who pass the email and phone screening process will be offered employment Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
